What should I do if the travel company goes bust?
ATOL protected
If your travel plans are ATOL protected, your travel agent will give you an ATOL certificate.
Make sure you keep it safe in case you need it.

ABTA protected
If you booked through a travel agent, you might be ABTA protected. Get in touch using the details on your booking documents.
Airline and supplier insolvency
Your policy covers you against financial failure or insolvency of:
- scheduled airlines (if you cannot get a refund or alternative flight)
- hotel chains
- car hire operators
- ferry operators
- coach operators
- train operators.
